1984 – Eurofin International founded in London to assist shipowners with their ship-financing needs, as well as banks in reviewing their shipping portfolios and assisting wit problem loan situations .
1991 – Eurofin S.A. founded in Athens to take better advantage of the Greek shipping market.
1992 – Entered the Italian market by helping Italian shipowners fund mainly their newbuilding programmes; Introduced several shipping banks to the Italian shipping market, which until then had mainly been financed by Italian banks.
1990s – Had representative offices in Italy and Norway, which developed key relationships now managed out of the London office.
1999 – Medfin Ltd was founded in Istanbul in partnership with Turkish interests. After a period of 10 years, during which Medin raised funding for Turkish shipowners in excess of US$3.5 billion, the JV was dissolved. The Turkish market is now handled out of Athens.
2007 – Seafin Pte Ltd. founded in Singapore to take advantage of the growing shipping market in Asia.
2007 – Eurofin S.A. signed an agreement with Barclays Bank’s now defunct yacht finance department to help expand their loan portfolio in the pleasure craft industry.
2008 – Eurofin S.A. signed a Consultancy Agreement with KfW IPEX-Bank for Greece to help expand their loan portfolio in the maritime sector as well as provide our expertise of the Greek shipping market.
2013 – Seafin Pte Ltd was formally appointed as the shipping consultant to KfW IPEX-Bank in South East Asia to help expand their loan portfolio in the maritime sector.
